Ashu was in a 6-months long job search before a friend introduced Seeing Hands to him. He was interviewed and hired as an accountant before being promoted to an assistant manager when a colleague left due to the pandemic. He then took on a greater role like buying groceries, sending customers to a specific therapist and managing Seeing Hands’ media platforms. Initially, Ashu was not aware that Seeing Hands was a blind massage clinic and was worried about making mistakes. Gradually, he became more confident and treated them as he would anybody else. Ashu also hopes that Seeing Hands can open new clinics and maybe expand internationally so that more of the visually impaired can be employed and trained.”
